Have you ever met a dog that has antennas for ears? I can now say I have. Meet Rocket!

I had a blast working with Rocket and her father, Nick. And I couldn’t get enough of her oversized ears!

This is a story of his a dog changed a man’s life.

Nick was experiencing too much unexpected loss in his life – enough to bring any human down to a low point. So how do you move passed this? You get a dog, of course.

And this is what Nick did!

When Nick was considering getting a dog, he know he didn’t want a puppy, or any dog with hi-energy really. It simply wouldn’t match his current lifestyle. He wanted a dog that would snuggle and be his companion at home. So, Nick’s search began and shortly after Rocket had a new forever home.

As Rocket settled into her new home, Nick quickly realized her energy level was in no way what he wanted.

But before he knew it, Rocket’s need to be outside slowly got Nick out of the house. Each day they would go on a longer and longer walk, which grew to mile long hikes. And together this family of two adventure seekers has explored the wilderness of Moab, Colorado, Washington and Oregon.

Thanks to Rocket, Nick was able to move passed his low point and discover a newfound passion for being outdoors and exploring what nature has to offer!
