At only five years old and 9 lbs, Maurice is the most accomplished dog that you may ever meet!!
On top of being a registered therapy dog, Maurice also holds a tricks title from the AKC, a Canine Good Citizen certificate, and an ATTS title and an all-star when it comes to the agility course. Oh, and did I mention that he is an accomplished Dog Scout with the Dog Scouts of America!
When Maurice’s mom submitted him to be a part of the Hilarious Hounds of the Bay project, I knew he was going to a perfect fit. I mean, with all those accomplishments, how could I not showcase this handsome guy story. But as I continued to read Maurice’s submission, something else caught my eye.
Maurice has a strict bed-time routine consisting of a massage, a song, and three minutes of compliments. Some say he might be a little spoiled, but I say this is all well-deserved! #lifegoals

What started as a goal to raise money for the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA turned into a beautiful collection of 30 lucky Bay Area dogs showcasing what makes them Hilarious Hounds.
