After changing the recipe of Miracle Whip and getting angry push back from its customer base, KRAFT decided to switch back to its original recipe, loved by everyone. Their ask was — in essence — how do we make the announcement? By combining humor and real-world customer feedback, our announcement wasn’t a weak apology, but a bold stance that said, “We heard you and we’re back.”
