Eli, you handsome devil, you!! It’s a good thing you are handsome.
You see, Eli is a service dog. And service dogs are supposed to be on their best behavior, but this adorable fluff of gold had a different plan of action for his photoshoot. He may have had a shot too many of happy juice right before his shoot, but I loved every second of it! From his goofy smile to his crazy long tongue, I loved it all!
When I accepted Eli to be a part of this Hilarious Hounds of the Bay project, I had this vision of him sitting stoically facing the camera a featuring his collection of hats. But sometimes, you need to let dogs be dogs and end up with the perfect image after all!

What started as a goal to raise money for the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA turned into a beautiful collection of 30 lucky Bay Area dogs showcasing what makes them Hilarious Hounds. And this collection of inspiring images was bundled into a limited-edition photobook – where all proceeds from the book sales will be donated to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA.
