Is there any cost to me?
Nope. There is no cost to you to join the network. In fact, depending on the job, you and your dog could be paid either a commission, receive free products, or a digital photo from the photoshoot.
How does it work?
Our Doggy Talent Database is simply a database of dogs who would love their chance to become a doggy model. If you don’t already know, I also photograph dogs for commercial brands along with personal projects on the side. So, as a project comes up, if we feel your pup has the look we are searching for, we’ll contact you with more details.
What can I do to improve my dogs chances of being picked?
As a dog photographer, I understand that sometimes dogs will just be dogs. But we are often looking for dogs who can be well-behaved in front of the camera. So, the best thing you can do and work on that training. A solid 5 second or more sit-stay is a great place to start. Also, it is extremely important that you are responsive if contacted for a potential project.
My dog can picky when I comes to other dogs, does that mean we can't submit?
If your dog has extreme aggression towards other dogs or unknown humans, this may not be the best fit for you. But if your dog can be picky towards some dogs (you are not alone, my girl is the same way) then just be sure to share this with us so we can ensure everyone’s safety at the shoot.
What if I can't trust my dog off leash?
Not a problem. Not all projects will require a perfect recall and some may even take place indoors. Just be sure to share this in the form below.
